Q: Without sharpener how to use ?
A: no need of sharpener, it's not a eye pencil, it's a kajal...
if you still want pointed end then you have to sharpen it with either sharpener or a blade.

A: yes, it's water proof and stays for 6 hours.
there's one problem with this product that is kajal loses it's tip after a while and then it's difficult to apply properly
